Successful Turnouts at Information Evenings

Over the Winter Months the Ely Centre have been hosting a number of Victims Information Evenings throughout the Armagh and Monaghan Area. These roadshows have been extremely well attended and have proven extremely effective in ensuring that victims living in rurual areas are being made aware of the types and levels of support which is avaialble to them all within their local area.

As an organisation We are extremely grateful to our funder the Victims and Survivors Service for supporting these events and to our local partners from FRPU, UHRW, Castlehill Foundation and others who have contributed to making sure these events are informative and varied.

We would like to thank all those who have supported us in this endeavour and we look forward to further roadshows throughout the spring time. We are planning to host another two events before the end of march, further information relating to these will be provided closer to the date.

Speaking on these Events Mr Danny kennedy Welfare outreach officer stated " the roadshows have been a wonderful way of  engaging with many victims from the local community whose needs are increasing as they get older. We have been delighted to see many of those who have attended the roadshows, follow this up by coming into the office in markethill or arranging for us to visit them and seeing their lives improved as a result of the support we are being able to provide"
