Ely Centre Successful in Armed Forces Covenant Bid

The Ely Centre are pleased to announce that they have been successful in their recent Bid to the Armed Forces Covenant Trust.

This new project which we anticpate to commence in April 2019 will be aimed at addressing and reducing levels of Serious Stress prevalent within the Armed Forces Community residing witihin the Fermanagh , Tyrone and Armagh areas 

This two year project has been awarded a total grant award of £220.000

Mr Jim Dixon Ely Centre Chairperson stated " I am delighted to have heard the Serious Stress Programme has been allocated funding from the AFCT. We look forward to commencing this new project and provide real life changing support on the ground for Our Veterans who continue to suffer as a result of their service and dedication to our Country. It is our hope that this new programme will really make a positive impact within the Veterans Community and we thank the Armed Forced Covenant Trust for their support and encouragement thus far and we  look forward to furthering our working relationship with him.

The new project will be partnering with the University of Chester who have been appointed to oversee the research elements within the project.
